We are an active couple and enjoy spending time outdoors . Every year we visit the Dallas Arboretum when acres of fields are covered in beautiful flowers. We’re looking forward to seeing the amazement in our child’s face at the variety of colors and textures in nature. Frequently we visit Arbor Hills, a 200 acre preserve just minutes from our house. We hike the creeks and hills with our dogs and can’t wait to hear our child’s laughter while chasing after them. Each year we rent a cabin with friends & family where we enjoy taking hikes in the wilderness and making smores by the campfire. Close to home, we have a community swimming pool and water park just around the corner where our family can cool off during the hot Texas summers. When we’re not heading outdoors, we also enjoy trips to museums and going to the theatre.

We enjoy travel and have seen such interesting and beautiful places as Maui, Paris, and even Australia. We hope to travel with our child so they can experience different cultures, try new foods, and see sights from around country and the world. There are so many interesting things to learn from the history and people of every city we visit. If we're not in the mood to travel so far from home, we enjoy dinner with friends and family, often followed by board games or some fun party games on the Wii! At the end of the day we both enjoy a few minutes of reading a good book. Bobby enjoys science fiction and fantasy. Ian enjoys some of the same books but visits the library frequently to try a broad variety of literature. Both of us read since a young age, and hope to instill in our child the value of books - how they can teach you about the world, and let your imagination take you to far away adventures!
